Cuban Magazine Releases Special Issue on Syria and Its Army’s Victories

The Cuban ‘Resumen’ magazine has released a special issue on Syria and the recent victories achieved by Syrian Arab army over terrorism, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

The agency made it clear that the issue entitled ‘ Syria.. The Great Victory for Syrian People’ contains articles, news and interviews conducted with Latin American writers, who are specialized in Syria’s affair.

 “The magazine conducted an interview with the writer José Antonio Egidio, who had written a book about Syria entitled ‘Syria the Heart of the World’,” the agency added, pointing out that the writer talked during the interview about Syria, its history and co-existence among all spectrums of society.

The writer also talked about targeting Syria for its independent stances that stand with resistance and stand against the imperialist- Zionist policies.

Another article written by the Argentinean journalist Leandro Albani was published in the magazine and it affirmed that the aggression on Syria is an old Israeli goal.

“Israeli officials’ remarks prove this fact,” the  writer said, referring to all forms of supports being offered by Israel to terrorist groups in Syria.

While the magazine’s editor-in-chief Carlos Aznarez wrote an article entitled ‘ The Imperialist Strategy Via ISIS has failed, during which he underscored that western countries in NATO used ISIS, al-Nusra Front, al-Qaeda and other organizations as tools to destroy Syria.

“Every time the Syrian army and its allies advance in their fight against terrorism, Israel interferes to save the terrorist organizations,”  he said, stressing that the Syrian people’s steadfastness and allies’ support foiled the US plots in Syria.

The Editor-in-Chief praised the steadfastness of the Syrian leadership and President Bashar al-Assad and his determination to restore peace and security to the country and to defeat terrorism.

“The return of people to their homes and the Syrian people’s determination to rebuild their country prove Syria’s victory and failure of imperialist plots in it,” he concluded.
