Cuban journalists praise the role of the Syrian media in defending the country

Havana (ST): A number of Cuban media professionals praised the important role played by the Syrian national media in defending the country, expressing their continuous support for Syria in the face of the media campaign that is still being waged against it by the hostile media.

 

During a farewell ceremony held at the Federation of Cuban Journalists in the capital, Havana, for the Syrian Ambassador to Cuba, Dr. Idris Maya, on the occasion of the end of his duties, the President of the Federation of Cuban Journalists, Ricardo Rocchio, praised the constructive and continuous cooperation between the Federations of Journalists in Syria and Cuba to serve the common causes defended by both countries, expressing his condemnation of the campaign of the malicious media that countries are constantly exposed to by hostile media.

Rocchio affirmed that the Cuban media will always stand by Syria and will exert all its energy to expose the hostile imperialist policies, praising the distinguished relationship that brought together the Syrian embassy in Cuba with the various Cuban media in the past years.
