Cuban Journalists: Imperialism Trying to Implement the Syrian Scenario in Venezuela and Cuba

HAVANA, (ST)- A number of Cuban journalists representing different Cuban media outlets, expressed their confidence about Syria’s victory in its war on terrorism, hailing the steadfastness of the Syrian state and people over the past years of the war imposed on them.

During their meeting with the Syrian Ambassador to Cuba Idris Mayya, the journalists said that imperialism is trying now to implement the Syrian scenario in Venezuela and Cuba using the same methods and procedures, particularly imposing sanctions on governments which don’t obey and implement the American dictates.

 On his part, Mayya affirmed the determination of the Syrian Arab Army to liberate every inch of the Syrian territory from terrorism, reiterating the failure of the schemes of the US and its allies against Syria thanks to the steadfastness of the Syrian people, the sacrifices of the Syrian army and the wisdom of the Syrian leadership.
