Cuba warns of current escalation in Middle East due to repeated US aggression on Yemen

Havana, (ST) – Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez warned of the consequences of the repeated attacks carried out by the United States and its allies against Yemen, and of the accompanying risk of escalating tension in the region.

Rodríguez said in a statement on the X platform: We warn that the bombing carried out by the United States and its allies on Yemeni cities leads to an escalation of the conflict in the Middle East region.

Rodriguez stressed that the only way to reduce escalation in the region is to end the crimes of genocide committed by the Israeli occupation authorities in Gaza Strip and establish a Palestinian state on the pre-1967 borders.
