NEW YORK,(ST)_Cuba has said the double-standard policy being practiced by some power states towards counter-terrorism have political purposes.
Cuba’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Rodolfo Reyes Rodríguez underscored on Friday the necessity of rejecting aggression on sovereign peoples under the pretext of combating terrorism.

He slammed the U.S. insistence on putting Cuba on the list of states that sponsor terrorism for the 33 time running .
Last Tuesday, Permanent Representative of Cuba to the U.N. Office at Geneva Anayansi Rodriguez reiterated her country’s support for reaching a peaceful solution to the crisis in Syria through dialogue.
