Cuba calls for the withdrawal of the Israeli entity from the occupied Syrian Arab Golan

New York (ST): Cuba called on the Israeli occupation authorities to fully and unconditionally withdraw from the Syrian Arab Golan and from all occupied Arab lands.

Cuba’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Pedro Luis Pedroso Cuesta, said in a speech during an open debate of the Security Council on the situation in the Middle East that “Cuba calls for the Israeli occupation to withdraw completely and unconditionally from the Syrian Arab Golan and from all occupied Arab lands,” calling at the same time for an immediate and unconditional end to arbitrary and illegal coercive measures imposed by the United States against sovereign states in the Middle East.

Pedroso Cuesta also called on the international community to end the illegal Israeli occupation of Palestine, warning of the continued deterioration of the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories due to the expansionist Israeli policies.

Cuba renewed its support for the Palestinian people to restore their legitimate rights, especially the exercise of their right to self-determination and the establishment of their independent, sovereign state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
