Cristiano Ronaldo is the player on the squad who has played more than 2,000 minutes in La Liga

He was the Real player who racked up the most game time in La Liga last season, and he’s on his way to a repeat this year. After the first 29 La Liga fixtures this season Cristiano Ronaldo has played a total of 2,199 minutes, the only player out of the 26 that Mourinho has played that has made it past the 2,000 minute mark. The Portuguese striker has only missed one match this year and a total of three between all of the competitions. Sergio Ramos, Pepe and Xabi Alonso follow the forward on the list of the current Real players with the most time on the pitch.

Cristiano Ronaldo is having yet another outstanding season; the positive numbers the forward has racked up thus far is ample proof. With an insatiable drive match after match Real’s number 7 is the player on the squad who has had the most game time this season. To date, the striker has played 25 matches on the starting squad and two matches as a sub. He has only missed one Liga match against Osasuna after being sanctioned for his accumulation of yellow cards. In terms of Real’s other competitions Cristiano Ronaldo has only sat out one game, the first Copa playoff against Alcoyano; in total the player has participated in 43 of Real’s 46 matches this season, and 98 of the 104 matches in the last two seasons.

Jose Mourinho has given 26 players the chance to step onto the pitch this season, including academy-player Jose Rodriguez, who debuted in the derby against Atletico de Madrid. With 1,994 minutes of game time Sergio Ramos is in second place on the list after Cristiano Ronaldo, while Pepe, Xabi Alonso and Arbeloa occupy the other top spots in a squad that has showed itself open to rotations over the last few fixtures.
