Crises in Middle East Serve Interests of Zionist Entity, Says Larijani

Iran’s Parliament (Majlis) Speaker Ali Larijanisays crises across the Middle East, particularly in Iraq and Syria, only serve the interests of the Zionist regime and its allies, according to Press T.V.

Larijani made the remarks in a meeting with Jordan’s new Ambassador to Tehran Abdullah Suleiman Abdullah Abu Romman in the Iranian capital, Tehran.

The Iranian Parliament speaker said, “Certain regional countries, mistakenly believing that they can make tactical use of terrorist groups, provide them with military training and weapons and ammunition.”

However, he said, the terrorist groups cannot be controlled and will create security problems throughout the region.

Larijani also expressed Tehran’s readiness to expand relations with Amman, calling for closer bilateral ties between the two Muslim states.

The Jordanian diplomat, for his part, pointed to the threats that Takfiri groups pose to regional security, and said that the current crises in the region benefit the Israeli regime.

Abu Romman added that Takfiri groups are a common danger for all the regional countries.

The Jordanian envoy said his country sees diplomacy as the solution to the regional conflicts, especially to the crisis in Syria, and welcomes cooperation from other countries to fight terrorism.
