Criminal Propaganda Campaign against Syrians

An analyst says the US and its allies have stepped up their “criminal” propaganda campaign against the Syrian government after the “designed-to-fail” Geneva II talks, Press TV reports.

In an article published on the Press TV website on Sunday, Finian Cunningham described the recent Geneva II conference on the Syria crisis as “fake,” saying the talks were part of a US-led “odious choreography” to push for regime change in the Arab country.

“The concerted propaganda campaign in the context of ‘failed negotiations’ at Geneva has a foreboding meaning – Western regime-change efforts in Syria are about to be intensified,” Cunningham added.

Cunningham further recalled the acts of violence committed by foreign-backed Takfiri groups in Syria, stressing, “It is these foreign mercenaries that are the ones creating a humanitarian crisis in Syrian urban areas by cutting off the supply of food and medicines.”
