“Creative Hands” Exhibition highlights products of micro-sized enterprises in Syria’s Sweida

70 producers who run micro-sized enterprise are showcasing their products and handicrafts in the 7-day exhibition that was opened on Saturday by “Mahabba and Wafa” (Amity and Loyalty) Association at the hall of the Saint George Church for the Greek Orthodox in the Syrian province of Sweida.

The exhibition, titled “Creative Hands”, showcases many artworks and products, including food products, embroideries, woolen clothes, detergents, creams, perfumes, accessories, candles, natural ornamental plants and wooden models, in addition to a number of paintings.

Feryal Al-Saleem, Chairperson of the association’s board, told SANA that the exhibition took three months to be prepared with the participation of producers of different ages in addition to the students of the institute for the education of people with hearing disability.

The aim to secure an income for those individuals in the light of the current difficult circumstances through helping them market their products and encouraging them to work and produce.

Some participants said that the exhibition creates an opportunity for them to introduce and market their products and to exchange experiences.

They stressed the need to hold such events particularly as micro-sized enterprises and businesses continue to expand.
