Managing Director of Foreign Ministry Political and International Security Hamid Baeedinejad wrote in his Instagram page on Sunday that countdown started to implement the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
Baeedinejad who is senior Iranian nuclear negotiator said that the JCPOA implementation means total lifting of all nuclear-related sanctions on Iran.
‘Iran’s coming to terms with the 5+1 Group countries (the UN Security Council Big 5 plus German) on resolving some of the major remaining issues related to termination of sanctions was another major step forward to the JCPOA implementation day,’ he said.
Post-sanctions era suitable opportunity to broaden Iran-Japan cooperation
On the other hand, Majlis deputy Gholamreza Haddad Adel said on Sunday that the post-sanction era after implementing the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) would provide a suitable opportunity to remove political, economic, cultural and parliamentary barriers to expansion of relations between Iran and Japan.
He made the remarks in a meeting with Japan’s new Ambassador to Iran Hiroyasu Kobayashi in Tehran on Sunday.
Referring to good areas of cooperation between the two countries, he wihed success for the Japanese ambassador during his tenure in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Both Iran and Japan enjoying ancient civilizations in the Asian continent have very good relations in various sectors, Haddad Adel said.
Exchange of visits between the two sides’ economic and ranking officials indicates a promising era of close cooperation between the two countries, he said.
He also called for promotion of political and parliamentary efforts to upgrade current level of cooperation between the two sides.
The US and the Zionist regime have used terrorism as a tools to disrupt stability and calm in Islamic states and regretfully the Saudi regime along with some other countries in the region spent huge sum of money for this purpose, he said.
To help restore calm to the region, it is necessary to stop terrorist activities and support nations’ rights to decide their fate without interference of aliens, Haddad Adel said.
The Japanese ambassador, for his part, expressed satisfaction with his mission in in Iran and said expansion and consolidation of relations between the two countries is on the agenda of the Japanese government and parliament.
Due to significant role of Iran in establishing peace and stability in the region and the world, Japanese officials would like to consult and exchange views with Iranian officials, he said.
Referring to implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and removal of sanctions, he said time is now ripe to increase level of relations between the two countries and the upcoming visit of the Japanese premier to Tehran indicates Japan’s firm determination in this regard, the Japanese ambassador said.
He also expressed the hope that level of mutual, regional and international cooperation between Iran and Japan would be increased.
