Coronavirus kills about one million and 123 thousand people around the world

Capitals, (ST) – The Corona virus has killed one million and 122,997 people around the world since its appearance last December.

According to the latest statistics of the Worldometer website, the total number of infections in the world has reached 40 million and 651472 cases, while the number of people who have recovered has reached 30 million and 356,801 people.

In Germany, the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases recorded 6,868 new infections with the coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 373167, in addition to 47 new deaths, bringing the total number to 9,836.

 

In China, the Ministry of Health has announced the registration of 19 new cases of corona on the mainland, all of them from abroad, up from 13 the previous day.

The total number of confirmed cases on the mainland has reached 85,704 so far, while the number of deaths remains unchanged at 4,634.

In Egypt, 123 cases and ten new deaths were recorded with the Coronavirus, compared to 127 cases and 11 deaths yesterday, bringing the total number of infections recorded in Egypt to 105,547, including 98,314 cases that were recovered and 6,130 deaths.
