Coronavirus infections rise to 22 million around the world

Capitals (ST): The number of Corona virus infections has reached 22 million around the world, while the deaths resulting from the fatal disease have risen to 770 thousands.

According to World Meter statistics, the number of Corona infections reached 22049452 and the deaths are 777440, whereas the recoveries from the virus amounted 14791869.

In Mexico, the Ministry of Health said that 3571 new infections and 266 deaths were registered yesterday bringing the total number of infections to 525733 and the deaths to 57023.

In Germany, Robert Koch Institute statistics said that 1390 infections and four deaths  were detected bringing the total number of infections to 225404 and the deaths to 9236 deaths.

In Australia, Victoria State announced that 17 deaths were reported during the past 24 hours.

In China, the National Health Committee said that 22 new infections were registered, pointing out that all the new infections were from abroad.

In Egypt, the Ministry of Health and Population said that 115 infections and 13 deaths were reported yesterday. The spokesman for the Ministry said that the total number of infections reached 96590.
