Coronavirus infections around the world exceed 247 million and 772 thousand

Capitals, (ST) –  The number of new infections with the Coronavirus around the world has exceeded 247 million and 772 thousand since its outbreak began in December 2019, according to the latest statistics from the American Worldometer website.

According to the website, the total number of Corona infections around the world has so far reached 24,777,221, while the total number of deaths has reached 5019,148 infections.

 The United States continues to lead the countries most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, with 766,811 deaths out of 46874,330 infections, followed by India with 458,470 deaths out of 3,428 5,814 infections, and Brazil third, with 607,922 deaths from 2,181,463 infections.
