Coronavirus Deaths Reach 3 Million Worldwide

The world’s Covid-19 demise toll surpassed three million on Saturday, in line with a New York Times database.

The American Worldometers Website  also reported that the global novel coronavirus pandemic has claimed the lives of more than 3,130,000 persons since its outbreak in December 2019.

The Website added that the total number of global infections has reached up to 148,445,877 and the total number of deaths has climbed up to 3,132,315, while the recoveries have amounted to 126,062,788.

The US still tops the worst affected countries in terms of infections and deaths as it has recorded 586,531 deaths, out of 32,874,180 infections.

India comes second with 197,880 deaths, out of 17,625,735 infections, then Brazil comes in the first place as it has recorded 391,936 deaths, out of 14,369,423 infections.
