Corona virus kills more than two million and 948 thousand people around the world

Capitals (ST): The new Corona virus has killed more than two million and 948 thousand people around the world since its appearance in December 2019 until now, according to the latest statistics of the American World Meters site.

 According to the site, the total number of Coronavirus infections around the world has so far reached 136570909, and the total deaths reached 2948088 cases, while the total cases of recovery from Corona infection reached 109760575 cases.

 The United States still maintains the top of the list of countries in the world most affected by the virus in terms of the number of infections and deaths, with 575818 deaths out of 31915179 infections, followed by India with 170,209 deaths out of 13525364 cases, then Brazil is third, with 353,137 deaths out of 13482023 infections .
