Corona virus kills more than two million and 671 thousand people around the world

Capitals,(ST)-The new Corona virus has claimed the lives of more than two million and 671 thousand people around the world since its appearance in December 2019, according to the latest statistics of the American Worldometer site.

According to the site, the total number of Coronavirus infections around the world has so far reached 120742863 cases, and the total deaths have reached 2671114 cases, while the total cases of recovering from the virus have reached 97342676 cases.

The United States continues to lead the countries most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, with 547918 deaths out of 301,33037 cases, followed by Brazil with 279,286 deaths out of 11519609 injuries, then India third, recording 158892 deaths out of 11409524 infections.
