Corona virus deaths around the world exceed 5 million and 69 thousand cases

apitals, (ST) –  The death toll from Corona virus infections around the world since its outbreak in December 2019 has approached 251 million, while deaths have exceeded five million and 69 thousand cases, according to the latest statistics from the American World Meters website.

According to the website, the total number of coronavirus infections around the world has so far reached 250,968,413, and the total deaths have reached 5,069,585, while the total number of recoveries has reached 227,204,147.

 The United States continues to lead the countries most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, with 775,923 deaths out of 474,14635 infections, followed by India with 461,347 deaths out of 3,4374,455 infections, and Brazil third, with 609,573 deaths out of 2,188,077 infections.
