Corona infections around the world exceed 62 million and 600 thousand, and the United States is at the top

The new Coronavirus has killed one million and 458 960 people around the world since its outbreak began in December, according to the Worldmeter website. 

The site, which is run by international researchers and developers, stated that the total number of Coronavirus infections around the world reached 62 million and 619,399 cases, while 43 million and 225,507 people have recovered from the disease. 

The United States continues to top the list of infections, with one million and 610,357 infections, while the total deaths reached 272,254, after recording 369 new deaths. 

A professor of Molecular Biology at George Mason University of America, Ancha Baranova, warned that the outbreak of the Corona epidemic in the country led to a decrease in the birth rate during the past two months. The current rate is 15 percent less compared to the same period last year.

India came in second place with 9 million 393039 infections in addition to 136,733 deaths. 

 In Germany, data from the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases today showed that the number of injuries increased by 14,611, bringing the total to one million and 42,700 injuries, while 158 new deaths were recorded, bringing the total number to 16,123
