Corona deaths around the world exceed 975,000

Capitals, (ST) – The number of new Corona virus victims around the world exceeded 975 thousand, while the number of infections exceeded 31 million and 780 thousand.

According to the Worldo meter website, which specializes in statistics, the number of deaths due to the coronavirus reached 975,472 cases, while the number of infections reached 31783958 infections and 23400905 people recovered.

India recorded 83,347 new infections, bringing the number of infections to 5646010, while the number of deaths increased by 1085 to 90020 deaths.

Today, the National Health Commission of China announced the registration of ten confirmed cases, all of them imported from outside the Chinese mainland, without recording any new deaths related to the disease, bringing the total confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland to 85,307 infections, with 4,634 deaths.

In Germany, data from the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases today showed an increase in the number of infections by 1769 to 275,927, and deaths by 13 cases to 9,409 cases.

The Czech Republic announced the registration of 2,394 new infections, bringing the number of infections to 53,158.

In Colombia, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 7,102 new infections, bringing the total number of infections to 77,537 and deaths by 173 to 24,570 deaths.
