Corona deaths around the world are close to five million

Capitals, ST) – The death toll from infections with the Corona virus around the world since its outbreak in December 2019 has approached five million, while infections have exceeded more than 244 million and 726 thousand infections, according to the latest statistics from the American Worldometer website.

 According to the website, the total number of coronavirus infections around the world has so far reached 24,472,6788, and the total number of deaths has reached 496,8407, while the total number of recoveries from the virus has reached 2,217,85836 infections.

The United States continues to lead the countries most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, with 757,136 deaths out of 46370,382 infections, followed by India with 455,100 deaths out of 34201357 infections, and Brazil third, with 605,682 deaths out of 21729,763 infections.
