Coordination to achieve Comprehensive Development a must,says al-Halqi

DAMASCUS, (ST) – ” Cooperation and coordination among organizations, vocational unions, governmental institutions and all spectra of the Syrian society to achieve sustainable and comprehensive development and ensure citizens’ health and educational needs are the governments priority, “underscored Premier Dr’Wael al-Halqi.

The Premier’s remarks came during a meeting with Chief of Doctors’ Syndicate, Dr. Abdul Qader Hassan, Chief of the Dentists Syndicate Dr. Fadia Deeb and Chairman of the Association of Syrian Pharmacists, Dr. Fares al-Shaar with the presence of Minister of Health Sa’ad al-Nayef.

Al-Halqi called for enhancing the concept of team work and bolstering confidence and cooperation among syndicates and Ministry of Health to provide best medical services to citizens.

Later on, the Premier presented a comprehensive political and economic review, pointing out to the political program to solve the crisis through starting to hold consultative meetings with political parties and forces, economic figures, NGOs and vocational unions to lay the foundation and establish bridges of communication between all spectrums of the Syrian people in preparation for holding the national dialogue conference to get out of the crisis.

“there are local and international indicators in support of the national dialogue, hailing the role of the Armed Forces in restoring security and stability to all Syrian territories,”the Premier noted.

The economic situation,al-Halqi went on saying, is improving due a series of economic procedures taken by the government, adding that a future package of economic measures will be approved with the aim of enhancing the steadfastness of national economy in the face of all challenges.
