Coordination between Government and Local Community to Improve Living Conditions of Citizens Underscored

DAMASCUS, (ST)-A meeting on Saturday between Prime Minster Imad Khamis and a delegation comprising dignitaries, parliament members and men of religion from different Damascus Countryside areas focused on coordination and integration between the government and the local community as to improve the socio-economic and services situation in different areas in a way that reflects positively on citizens’ living conditions.

 The delegation consisted of representatives of local communities of  Jaramana, Qatana, Jabal al-Sheikh, Sahnaya, Ashrafiyet Sahnaya and Deir Ali areas of Damascus Countryside.

The premier stressed that “the government will spare no effort as to fix the damage caused to the infrastructure by the terrorist war on Syria and to ensure citizens’ requirements through applying  some administrative and economic procedures. He hailed the role played by national social and religious figures in protecting society from destructive ideas.

Members of the delegation, on their part, vowed to work hand in hand with the government as to meet citizens’ needs and enhance their steadfastness. They voiced support for the Syrian Arab Army in the confrontation of the terrorist war targeting the homeland.
