Controlling the Al-Sad Road neighborhood in the city of Daraa after eliminating the remnants of the terrorist ISIS organization

A security source announced the control of the Al-Sad Road neighborhood in the southern part of Daraa city, after eliminating the remnants of the “ISIS” organization who were holed up in the neighborhood.

Local sources stated that the Al-Sad Road neighborhood had been completely controlled and cleared of ISIS terrorists.

The sources indicated that during the security operation, dozens of terrorists were eliminated, including leaders in the ranks of the Takfiri organization, and 4 booby-trapped cars were seized. The terrorist organization was planning to detonate them by suicide bombers in the city of Daraa. A booby-trapped car was destroyed yesterday after monitoring its movement, which led to its detonation. A suicide bomber was killed inside.
The source pointed out that the process of clearing out the Al-Sad Road neighborhood of ISIS terrorists was a severe blow to the terrorist organization in Daraa, especially since the neighborhood had an operations room and a fortified command headquarters for the organization for years.
The sources added: The operation deprived the terrorist organization “ISIS” from the ability to regroup and organize operations; because of the painful blow ISIS received, the great losses it suffered, and the loss of the organization’s most important operations rooms in southern Syria.
During the last period, the competent authorities conducted security operations in cooperation with local and civil groups in Jasim city and in the towns of the western countryside of Daraa, which resulted in the elimination of dozens of ISIS terrorists, including leaders, and the confiscation of weapons and ammunition in their possession.
