The General Electricity Company of Aleppo worked to deliver electricity to the governorate after the defeat of terrorism by implementing a 230- kilovolt electric line from Hama to Aleppo through Khanasser and securing electricity for the people in the city, neighborhoods and liberated areas.
Engineer Mahmoud Khattab, in charge of managing the General Electricity Company in Aleppo, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the number of the damaged and out-of-service transformation centers reached 2,600, including 2,000 ones in the city. He referred to the damage of the medium and low voltage electricity networks , transmission centers and transformers in the high-voltage networks linking the city of Aleppo and providing it with electrical supply from the rest of the provinces and dams.
He pointed out that during the next year, about 300 transformational centers will be put into service, and the restoration of the electrical system will continue.
