Continuation of the community support campaign launched by Tartous Governorate in all regions

The community support campaign in the field of cleaning, landscaping and maintenance, which was launched on Sunday, continues in coordination with the local community, civil associations, public sector companies, and the Technical Services Directorate in Tartous city and its regions.

 

The President of Tartous City Council, Judge Muhammad KhaledZain, toured the work progress and praised the efforts made by all participants in order to maintain a clean environment in Tartous Governorate, stressing the need for concerted efforts by all in order to preserve the cultural heritage of the old city.

As part of the special community support campaign, a cleaning campaign was carried out in cooperation with the local community and civil associations (the Social care Center of the Al-Batool Association), the Technical Services Directorate, and the Environment Directorate, targeting the old city of Tartous and its surroundings.

The cleaning campaign included Tartous areas, where Qadmous City Council organized its campaign at the entrances of Al-Qadmous and Ain al-Rayes. The campaign was also carried out under the supervision of Safita City Council, with participation of the Environment Office in Safita, the General Company for Roads and Bridges, Al-Batool Association for Humanitarian Services, Al-Sabil Charity Association and the local community.

In addition, a campaign to clean and paint the sidewalks in Baniyas was carried out in cooperation with the Baniyas City Council and the Al-Batool Association.
