Continuation of Crisis Isn’t in the Interest of Any Country

TEHRAN (ST)_ the continuation of the crisis in Syria isn’t in the interest of any country in the region, said Chairman of the Iranian Majlis Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy, Alaeddin Boroujerdi.

Boroujerdi lambasted, in press statements, the stances of Turkey and Saudi Arabia and their support to the terrorist armed groups in Syria, asserting that both Ankara and Riyadh have worked during the past 20 months on the destabilization and escalation of violence in Syria.

The Iranian official pointed out that the crisis in Syria is less intense compared to past months, calling Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey, which supplied the terrorists with cash, weapons and training, to seek ending the crisis in Syria.
