Constitution of the Syrian Arab Republic: Red Line

Syria has indeed been committed to the political track leading to a political solution for the crisis in Syria, underscored Minister of Information Omran al-Zoubi.

Minister al-Zoubi added that such a political solution would preserve Syria’s sovereignty and integrity, spare the Syrians’ blood, open the door for reconstruction and leave none of the national political forces out.

Minister al-Zoubi reiterated Syria’s readiness, even thought Syria wasn’t part of drafting Geneva 1 statement, to discuss logically and orderly Geneva 1 articles from A to Z.

Minister al-Zoubi, in a Syrian TV interview yester night, added that the Syrian official delegation went to Switzerland for Geneva 2 and was open for whatever serious, responsible and political solution up to the higher interests of Syria.

The minister blasted the so-called coalition opposition’s rejection of the three papers presented by the official delegation, wondering how any national Syrian could reject Syria’s sovereignty, independence, rejection of foreign interference, and combating terrorism as principles.

The veteran minister of Information underlined that the only red line for Syria is the sovereignty, and will of the Syrians and the Constitution of the Syrian Arab Republic.

”We are ready for national partnership, formation of national unity government, democratic election, and we aren’t worried and would accomplish the said with all those who would be present in accordance with the Constitution,” underscored Minister al-Zoubi.
