Congratulating Muslims on Ramadan, Patriarch Lahham: the Arab world needs faith and morals

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ Patriarch of Antioch and All the East for the Greek Catholic Melkite Church Gregory III Laham has extended congratulations to the Muslims on the fall of the holy month of Ramadan, “the month of prayer, repentance, almsgiving, communication and compassion, and worship of the merciful God.”

” I congratulate my Muslim brothers on the holy month of Ramadan, in my name as an Arab Christian patriarch and on behalf of Christians Melkite Catholics in particular and Christians in general.” the Patriarch said in a statement yesterday.

Patriarch Gregorios III called in his statement for love against the scenes of “fragmentation, rivalry, division and the call for ” jihad, “which is not” jihad and fatwas which are only the smell of death, murder and terrorism. “
