Conference “Towards Knowledge Econony”

The Supreme Commission for Scientific Research, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, the Syrian Virtual University and the Arab School of Science and Technology, is organizing for the fourth year in a row the Conference of Syrian researchers in the homeland and the expatriate for the year 2022 under the title “Towards Knowledge Economy.. The Role of Syrian Researchers in the Homeland and the Expatriate”, during the period between 4th and 6th of July.

The conference aims to create effective research and applied partnerships between researchers at home and abroad, and to transfer and localize advanced technology and related intellectual property policies.
The sessions will focus on information and communication technology, smart systems, alternative energies technology, biotechnology, nanotechnology, environmental technology and its challenges, knowledge and its role in strengthening the national economy, in addition to the presentations of companies and the private sector.
Syrian researchers from inside the country and Syrian expatriates in France, Iran, India, the Russian Federation, Germany, Japan, China, the United States of America, Britain, Spain, Switzerland, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Sweden will participate in the conference.
