Condolences keep pouring in

Mishustin: Russia ready to provide all possible support to Syria

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin sent a cable of condolences to the Syrian Prime Minister Hussein Arnous on the victims of the earthquake which hit Syria on Monday, leaving massive damage and hundreds of casualties.

Mishustin, on behalf of the Russian government, stressed that Russia is ready to provide all forms of support and assistance to Syria to help it alleviate the impacts of this disaster. He expressed sympathy with the families of the victims, wishing speedy recovery to the injured.

Moreover, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Faisal Al-Mikdad received a phone call from his Tunisian counterpart Nabil Ammar during which the Tunisian official conveyed the condolences of President Kais Saied and the Tunisian people to the Syrian government and people and expressed solidarity with the families of the victims of the earthquake.

The Tunisian minister stressed that the humanitarian support provided by Tunisia aims at alleviating the humanitarian suffering of the Syrian people.
