Concluding Statement by President Al Shara’a At Antalya Forum

I was pleased today to participate in the fourth edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, held under the theme “Advancing Diplomacy in a Divided World.”

This participation stems from the deep belief of the Syrian Arab Republic that dialogue and diplomacy are the most effective means for resolving conflicts and promoting peace and stability in our region and the world.

The forum provided a valuable opportunity to exchange views with a number of leaders and officials on current regional and international challenges, in addition to reaffirming the importance of respecting the unity and sovereignty of the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic.

On the sidelines of the forum, I also held a series of bilateral meetings with several participating presidents and leaders, during which we discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations, expand areas of cooperation, and coordinate on issues of common interest in a manner that serves the interests of our peoples and enhances security and stability in the region and the world.

In conclusion, I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to my brother, the President of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, for his gracious attention and warm reception.

Ahmad Al-Sharaa
President of the Syrian Arab Republic
