Comprehensive strike in the West Bank in protest against the occupation’s assassination of Al-Arouri

Occupied Al-Quds (ST) – Today, a comprehensive strike took place in the West Bank denouncing the assassination of, Saleh al- Arouri, the deputy head of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian Resistance Movement “Hamas”, and condemning the occupation’s continued crimes against the Palestinian people.

Wafa News Agency reported that the general strike, called for by the Fatah movement and the Palestinian national forces, included all aspects of life, as universities, banks, and shops were closed.

Al-Arour, along with 6 of his companions, was martyred yesterday following a treacherous Zionist attack that targeted Hamas office in the southern suburb of Beirut.

Hamas affirmed that the occupation’s assassination of A-Arouri on the Lebanese territories is a full-fledged act of terrorism, a violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty and an expansion of its circle of aggression.

It stressed that the Nazi-Zionist occupation will not succeed in breaking the will of steadfastness and resistance of the Palestinian people.

For its part, Fatah movement indicated that there are no limits to the crimes of the occupation that threaten the region and global security and peace.
