Completion of maintenance work at Al-Suwaydieh gas plant and reoperation of its turbines
The technical workshops of Al-Suwaydieh gas plant, in cooperation with the workers of the Rmelan oil fields, completed the maintenance work for the plant, which lasted for 15 days.
General Director of Al-Hasakah Electricity Company, Anwar Okla, said in a statement to SANA reporter that maintenance operations were carried out for the plant in general, especially the sieves and the mediator, pointing to the reoperation of the four turbines in the Al-Suwaydieh facility for electricity generation, which were stopped in terms of maintenance. He noted that the General Electricity Company of Al-Hasakah will begin to restore the electricity normally since today.
It is noteworthy that a quantity of 50 megawatts of electricity is generated on a daily basis to supply Al-Hasakah Governorate with daily electricity, as the governorate needs 90 megawatts per day.
