Competitions of the 1st Jareeh Al-Watan Sports Games kick off in Lattakia

Competitions of the Jareeh Al-Watan Sports Games kicked off on Saturday at Al-Assad Sports City in Lattakia with the participation of 100 wounded persons. Arab and foreign participants are also taking part in this event.

The participants will compete in the sports of swimming, table tennis, basketball, volleyball, badminton, athletics and physical strength games.

Winners of the first place in different games will get 900,000 Syrian Pounds (SYP) as a financial reward. Those in the second place will get 800,000 SYP and the third position will get 700,000 SYP. Other participants will be honored through awards, training camps and sport perks that help them become professional sportsmen.
