Competent authorities in Daraa governorate thwart Captagon smuggling attempt to Jordan
DARAA, Jul.18, (ST)-The competent authorities in Daraa governorate seized a quantity of Captagon pills while they were to be smuggled to Jordan through the joint international borders.
A source in the competent authorities declared: “Through continuous monitoring of possible smuggling methods, and revealing the ever-changing methods of smugglers, the competent authorities arrested, in a tight ambush, three smugglers carrying quantities of the drug Captagon pills, which they placed in burlap bags on their backs.”
The competent authorities pointed out that the smugglers will be brought to judiciary to receive their just punishment in accordance with Syria’s law.
