Damascus (ST): Commissioned by President Bashar al-Assad, Minister of Presidency Affairs Mansour Azzam offered condolences on the death of former Chinese President Jiang Zemin, at the Chinese Embassy in Damascus.
Minister Azzam wrote down a word in the condolence book, in which he conveyed the condolences of President al-Assad to the people and the Chinese leadership on the passing away of President Zemin.
