Commissioned by President Al-Assad, Minister Al-Hallaq congratulates the Armenian Orthodox community on Christmas

Damascus (ST): Commissioned by President Bashar al-Assad, the Minister of Information, Dr. Boutros al-Hallaq, congratulated the Armenian Orthodox community, which follows the Eastern calendar, on the occasion of Christmas.

The Minister of Information visited the Armenian Orthodox Archbishop of the Diocese of Damascus and its dependencies, Armash Nalbandian, and conveyed President al-Assad’s congratulations on the birthday of Jesus, the Messenger of love and peace to him and the people of the honorable community, and his wishes for happiness and success.

In turn, Bishop Nalbandian thanked President al-Assad for his kind congratulations, praying to God to protect Syria, its people and its army, to have mercy on its martyrs, to restore security and safety to its regions, and to grant success to President al-Assad, wishing that the new year would bring all goodness to the Syrian people.
