Commissioned by President al-Assad..Ambassador Abdul Karim Offers Condolences on Demise of Lebanese Media Figure, Samar Al-Hajj

Commissioned by President Bashar al-Assad, Syria’s ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Abdul Karim, offered condolences on the demise of the Lebanese media figure Samar Shalak Al-Hajj.

The husband of the late media figure, Major General Ali Al-Hajj, the former director general of the Lebanese Internal Security Forces, and the family of the deceased thanked President al-Assad for his generous gesture, wishing him continued health and well being, and wishing Syria victory in the war on terrorism.

The media figure, Samar Al-Hajj, died today Thursday morning following a period of sickness. She was put to her final resting place in the presence of a large number of political, party, religious, social, cultural and media figures in  addition to the masses of the resistance.

 

Al-Hajj was known for her pioneering national stances and support for Syria in confronting the terrorist Takfiri ideology and the global terrorist war waged against it. She was also known for her support for the Palestinian and Arab causes.
