Combating terrorism, Syria’s firm stance: al-Zou’bi

DAMASCUS, (ST)- “security, military and economically speaking, Syria is facing the whole types of  international terrorism. Nevertheless, Syria   believes that dialogue is possible and necessary to unify the Syrians’ efforts in confronting terrorism and defending the homeland and its sovereignty, “underscored Minister of Information, Omran al-Zou’bi .

Al-Zou’bi remark was made during a meeting he held Thursday with Head of the Office of the UN Special Envoy to Syria in Damascus, Mokhtar Lamani.

 The minister made it clear that  the countries , backing Jabhat al-Nusra in Syria, have transgressed against all international resolutions on counterterrorism.

During the meeting ,al-Zou’bi and Lamani  reviewed the internal developments and the efforts being exerted to bring the aggression on Syria to a halt.

Al-Zou’bi asserted  the Syrians’ firm stance as regards combating  terrorism and the serious effort to find a political solution with the participation of all the Syrians.
