Colombia intends to sever diplomatic relations with the Israeli occupation entity

The Colombian President Gustavo Petro announced yesterday that Colombia will severe diplomatic relations with the Israeli occupation entity due to its continued aggression against Gaza.

Reuters quoted Petro as saying to crowds celebrating Labor Day and supporting Petro’s social and economic reforms in the capital, Bogota: “Here before you is the government of change. The government announces that tomorrow we will sever diplomatic relations with “Israel” because of its adption of genocide policy”.

Petro called for joining South Africa’s lawsuit in the International Court of Justice, which accuses the occupying entity of committing genocide in Gaza.
