The Czech parliamentarian clarified that the western countries are subordinates to the United States.

Egyptian solidarity committee says sanctions imposed on Syria are a major crime

In Cairo, the General Coordinator of the Egyptian Popular Committee for Solidarity with the Syrian People Hisham Lutfi has called for the immediate lifting of the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on Syria, describing the measures as a “major crime”.

Lutfi told SANA correspondent in Cairo on Saturday that the American administration, which has planned and led the conspiracy which has been targeting Syria over the past years, is now carrying on the implementation of its scheme by imposing unilateral coercive economic measures on Syria in a flagrant violation of international legitimacy and all international laws and conventions.

He called for an international stance against Washington’s arrogant policy and hegemonic schemes.

Lutfi reiterated that Syria has changed the international political map through its legendary steadfastness in the face of terrorism and through the sacrifices it has offered in fighting against terrorism on behalf of the world,  urging the international community to put an end to the coercive measures imposed on the Syrian people.
