Closed Selective Coalitions Affirm Non-seriousness about Terrorism Fighting- Deputy Foreign Minister

DAMASCUS, (ST)- Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Susan has reiterated Syria’s cooperation with all regional and international efforts to combat terrorism in accordance with international legitimacy and based on respecting the Syrian state’s sovereignty.

 

Susan, who was speaking on Sunday to a delegation representing the Commission for Defending Syria in Sweden led by George Maqdisi Elias, said closed and selective coalitions, which have special agendas, confirm the non seriousness about fighting terrorism.

The deputy minister briefed the guest delegation on the anti-Syria aggression which have targeted Syria’s honorable stances and aimed at dominating the region and stealing its resources. He affirmed the Syrian people’s determination to confront the aggression and fight terrorism everywhere in Syria.

He highly appreciated the national stances of the Syrian communities across the world and those of the friendly commissions which support Syria in its confrontation of the ongoing terrorist war. He hailed their role in explaining the real image of the aggression targeting the country and in the process of reconstructing what the takfiri terrorism had destroyed.

Members of the delegation voiced their support for Syria and expressed readiness to do their best to contribute to the country’s victory over terrorism and to the reconstruction and development process.

The meeting was attended by directors of the Expatriates and Europe departments at the Foreign Ministry.
