Clashes renewed in Ain al-Hilweh camp in southern Lebanon

Beirut (ST): Clashes renewed in the Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp near the city of Sidon between the Fatah movement and armed groups on the Al-Barakat reconstruction axis.

According to the Lebanese National News Agency, the camp witnessed clashes with machine guns and shells, the echoes of which reverberated in the city of Sidon. The clashes led to the displacement of civilians towards Sidon and the surrounding areas.

Four people were killed on July 30 during an armed ambush and clashes that took place in the camp itself.
