Clans of Tayy in Aleppo Countryside Reject American-Turkish Schemes, Back Syrian Army’s War on Terrorism
ALEPPO, (ST)- Participants in the Clans of Tayy Forum, held on Sunday in Aleppo southern countryside, have stressed that Syria is a homeland for all it citizens who are adherent to its unity and who reject all forms of hegemony on this homeland or on any part of it.
They reiterated their complete rejection of US and Turkish interference in the Syrian affairs under whatever pretext.
The final statement of the forum said that “the borders of the Syrian Arab Republic are protected by international legitimacy resolutions and we will never allow any party to change these borders and draw alternative maps or establish so-called safe zones or implement other schemes,” stressing that “the Syrian people are the only party who have the right to decide their future and that the Syrian lands belong only to the Syrians.”
The statement called for enhancing popular resistance, affirming the key role played by the national clans and tribes in foiling all enemies’ schemes.
“Syria is a homeland to all its people and it guarantees equality of rights and duties of all citizens,” the statement said.
The participants called for restoring the state’s authority and sovereignty over all its territories and appealed for amnesty to all the citizens who didn’t take part in killings.
They urged international organizations to expand humanitarian aid, reiterating that Syria’s mineral resources belong to the Syrian people and affirming that western countries should lift the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on the Syrians.
In statements to SANA, some participants stressed the clans’ unified stance against the Turkish-American interference in the Syrian affairs and reiterated their support for the Syrian Arab Army in defense of the homeland and in confrontation of mercenaries wreaking havoc in the Syrian Jazeera area.
