Civil initiatives in Al-Suwayda to restore damages of the governorate building as result of sabotage
Deputy governor of Al-Suwayda, Eng. Wael Jarbou, confirmed that the governorate received many messages from civil personalities and free professions, expressing their willingness to contribute and participate in the restoration of the governorate building after it was subjected to acts of sabotage by a group of outlaws.
During a meeting at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Al-Suwayda, economic, industrial and commercial personalities launched an initiative to contribute to the restoration of part of the governorate building,
The events confirmed that the opportunity is available to all those who wish to contribute to the process of restoring what was destroyed by the outlaws, providing the necessary materials and equipment, and carrying out maintenance work in a manner that preserves the character of the governorate building, which is part of its memory and the property of citizens.
Civil activists denounced any attack on public and private property, demanding that the perpetrators of these acts, which offend the history of the province, be held accountable.
Head of the Al-Suwayda Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nabih Bakri, indicated that the civil contribution includes the reconstruction of one of the floors, in a way that accelerates the return of services to citizens.
In addition, Ziyad Amer, one of the commercial and industrial personalities in the governorate, placed a property of about 600 square meters in a neighboring building, fully equipped with offices, at the disposal of the governorate, pending the completion of the restoration of the building.
Al-Suwayda governorate announced that it would continue to provide its services at its headquarters, despite the damage caused by a group of outlaws two days ago, according to the available capabilities.
