Citizens in Syria’s Hama stand in solidarity with people in Gaza

A solidarity stand was held on Friday in the Syrian city of Misyaf in Hama province to support the people in Gaza Strip in the face of the Israeli ongoing aggression and crimes.

Officials and people from the different segments of society as well as NGOs took part in the stand. The participants called on the international community to hold the Zionist entity accountable for its crimes which violate all international and humanitarian laws and conventions.

Ammar Al-Haiba, Imam of a mosque in the city, said “we are standing in support for our people in Gaza Strip and entire Palestine. We salute their legendary steadfastness in the face of the Israeli war and terrorism machine”. He pointed out that the Palestinians have the right to restore their usurped land and establish their independent state and the West’s complicity with the Israeli occupation in the war to displace the people in Gaza will not weaken the Palestinian people.

For his part, the Executive Director of the Al-Ahly Club Association in Misyaf, Muhammad Al-Shoubasi, said that what is happening in Gaza Strip is a continuation of the crimes the Israeli occupation had committed throughout history, calling on the international community and humanitarian organizations to intervene urgently to stop the occupation’s plans and attempts to forcibly displace the people in Gaza, noting that the heroic deeds of the resistance confirm the determination of Palestinians to regain their rights.
