Citizens in Sweida: Renewed terrorist attacks are part of the American ongoing war on the Syrian people

Citizens in the Syrian province of Sweida have stressed that the recent terrorist attacks that targeted transport means in the Syrian Desert area and which led to the martyrdom and wounding of several people including soldiers, are part of the American ongoing war on the Syrian people through siege and support for terrorism. The citizens voiced their firm support for the Syrian Arab Army until all the remnants of the terrorist organizations and their cells in the Syrian Desert are eliminated and all these areas are completely clean of terrorism.

In statements to SANA, some citizens condemned these terrorist acts and said that those behind these brutal attacks seek to revive the remnants of the terrorist organizations to terrorize civilians and strike stability in safe areas. They reiterated that the terrorists and the colonialist powers behind them won’t be able to weaken the resistance of the steadfast Syrian people and the determination of the Syrian army to continue to offer sacrifices in defense of the homeland.

“The Turkish occupation and the colonialist powers continue to supply the terrorist organizations with money and weapons to create more tension and terrorism in the country and to suffocate the Syrian people,” some of the citizens said, stressing the need to uproot terrorism by continuing the fight against it and by backing the heroic Syrian Arab Army, the protector of the homeland’s dignity.

They pointed out that the terrorist attacks cannot be separated from the unjust economic siege imposed on the Syrian people, as the battle continues and the enemies of the homeland do not want Syria and the Syrians to live in safety and stability.
