Citizens in Qameshli countryside demand the expulsion of US and Turkish occupying forces from Syrian territories

HASAKA, (ST)- Citizens in Farfara village of Qameshli countryside in Hasaka organized a demonstration on Saturday in protest against the illegal presence of the US and Turkish occupation forces in Syrian territories and in condemnation of the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the U.S. on the Syrian people.

The demonstrators burned the American flag and chanted slogans rejecting the crimes of the US occupation forces crimes of looting and smuggling Syrian oil and other resources in the areas they are occupying.

 Some demonstrators told SANA that the locals in the village back the Syrian Arab Army’s heroic efforts to eliminate terrorism and expel the occupying forces from Syria.

They affirmed their steadfastness in the face of the US economic terrorism being practiced against the Syrian people.

“Our rally today aims at delivering a message to the world confirming our rejection of the American and Turkish occupations and our support for the Syrian Arab Army”, one of the demonstrators said.
