Chinese tourists: Palmyra is the cradle of civilization

A group of Chinese tourists have recently visited the city of Palmyra and underlined the importance of its great civilization and historical monuments, especially the temples, cemeteries and its amphitheatre.

They expressed sadness about the devastation caused by Daesh terrorists who are enemies of human civilization. Member of the group Chim Yam, who is an architect, said that he saw the great artifacts of Palmyra and what the terrorist groups have done, expressing hope that peace will prevail in Syria, the cradle of human civilization.

Another tourist, Chim Mu Bing said that he came to Syria, because he loved it and its time-old civilization, expressing regrets for destructive acts made by the terrorists against the city and its great heritage.
